Dressings

Generally no dressings are needed as part of intraoral surgery, though occasionally a “Whitehead’s Varnish” gauze pack may be inserted for a special purpose. This will normally be removed when we remove your sutures, and it is essential the pack be kept clean as part of your normal oral hygiene as detailed above.

Wisdom will provide you with spare mouth packs to assist with control of oozing and bleeding from surgical sites.
