Meet Oral Surgeon, Dr. Khaled Zoud

Dr Khaled Zoud is a specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He specialises in surgery of the mouth, face and jaws. He is a qualified Dentist and Doctor with additional specialist training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with First Class Honours from the University of Sydney in 1994, Dr Zoud then went on to medical training. He graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine with Honours from the University of Newcastle in 2002. He obtained his specialist Fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in 2006.

To add to his achievements, Dr. Zoud regularly completes national and international continuing education courses. He also teaches and trains other dentists and doctors and is a senior lecturer at the University of Sydney.

Among patients, Dr. Zoud is known for his compassion, understanding, and willingness to listen. Engaging with patients and finding personalized solutions to their problems is his passion.

Outside of the office, Dr. Zoud has traveled to the Philippines with Operation Restore Hope to treat patients with cleft lips and palates. Additionally, he loves spending time with his wife, four children, and their unusual pets: pygmy bearded dragon lizards, two Tonkinese cats, and an Eclectus parrot.

Dr Zoud is currently in full-time private practice in Burwood. He operates at Westmead Private Hospital and Strathfield Private Hospital. Dr Zoud has an interest in wisdom tooth removal, complex dental implants and bone grafting procedures.
