SHRISTY

Shristy is our Practice Manager with a Master of Commerce from the University of Ballarat. Shristy excels in overseeing the nonclinical aspects of our practice, focusing on building positive patient relationships through trust and engagement. Your comfort and satisfaction are Shristy’s top priorities, making each visit to our practice a delightful experience. In her free time, she enjoys family moments with her husband and soccer-loving 8-year-old son, indulges in her passion for movies, and loves to travel.

KATRINA

As a surgical and dental assistant, Katrina plays a significant role in helping patients feel comfortable during procedures. She is passionate about making patients feel at ease and cared for. Previously a chef, Katrina loves to cook but is loving every moment of her new career. She joined our practice at the beginning of 2021.

In her spare time, she loves to cook, travel, and spend time with her family.

MIRTA

Mirta has many years of experience in the dental industry and has a passion for the medical/dental field. She enjoys getting to know and looking after patients with compassion and care. She graduated with a double degree in Commerce and Applied Finance from Macquarie University. She enjoys getting outdoors with her 2 boys and hubby for walks, tennis, and basketball. She loves trying new eateries has a penchant for sweet treats and baking and is a Pilates and yoga enthusiast.

Dental Implants

Feel and function like natural teeth

A natural tooth consists of a root and a crown. If you compare natural teeth to implant-supported replacement teeth, you’ll see they have the same basic parts. Both have a crown (the visible part used to chew food). Both have a root that holds the tooth securely under the gum and is anchored into the jaw. The difference is that the implant is made of titanium – the same time-tested material used by surgeons for artificial joints. When you lose a tooth, you lose both the root and the crown.
