First Visit

Your initial appointment will consist of a consultation explaining your diagnosis and treatment options.  Surgery is usually not performed the same day as the consultation. A medical history and treatment plan is usually performed on the day of consultation and arrangements are then made to perform your surgery.

Before Your Consultation

To help us provide the best care and streamline your appointment, please have the following ready:

  • Referral letter and any relevant X-rays (if applicable).

  • List of medications you are currently taking.

  • Details of any specialists you are currently seeing.

  • Medicare and Private health insurance details (if applicable).

You can provide this information when completing the Patient Registration Form

IMPORTANT: All patients under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at the consultation visit.

Please alert the office if you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to surgery (i.e., diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are currently taking any medications (i.e., heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.).

X-Rays

If your dentist or doctor has taken X-rays, you may request that they forward them to our office. If additional films are necessary, they can be taken at our facility.
